Continuous Printing and Register Sets
Continuous printing is a highly cost effective method of printing, using paper from large reels which are uncut. The process takes place without having to feed individual sheets of paper through the press allowing a number of pages to be printed at the same time. There are also a variety of ways in which the sheets can be produced, these vary from individual sheets, on a roll, fan folded or with sprockets.
Olympic supply continuous printing forms and registered sets to suit all business requirements, these range from horizontal or vertical perforations, multi part or single NCR sets. Forms can be produced in many different depths and widths and can be pre-printed in 1 – 4 Pantone colours in addition to 4 colour process. Further in-line features available are numbering, bar coding, QR Codes, hole punching, gluing, multiflexing and piggyback labels.
The Advantages of Continuous Printed Stationery
Continuous Forms have the benefit that multiple copies can then be overprinted very quickly using a continuous printer rather than on a laser which would have to print multple sheets for each item. Quantities of 500 to 1,000,000 or more are regularly produced. This can be particularly useful when producing Printed Invoices and Statements, Printed Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Airway Bills or Waste Disposal Dockets for example where many copies are required to ensure you comply with any Export documentation or current legislation. Another important item is Printed Payslip Mailers or Peel Apart Mailers as they are sometimes know. These are forms which do not need a separate envelope and can therefore be sent straight out in the post confidentially and securely.
